It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Kingerski on September 16, 2014 in Winnipeg, MB after a courageous battle against cancer. Sharon is survived by her sons; Roderick (Bernice), Chad (Kendra), and Shane, daughters; Cherie (John) and Raquel (Mike). She also leaves to cherish her memory, grandchildren Brittney, Tori, Joel, Ethan and Logan. Sharon will be forever remembered for her dedication to family, her faith, and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures. Born and raised in Regina, SK, Sharon was an only child of Fred and Irene. She met her husband Henry (deceased) at a young age and soon started a family together before moving to Alberta and then Manitoba. They had five children together and shared many memories dear to them both. Later in life, Sharon moved to British Columbia where she enjoyed the mountains, ocean, sightseeing, and many rainy nights. Sharon was a devoted mother and Catholic throughout her life and will be missed by many friends at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in downtown Vancouver and St. Alphonses Church in Winnipeg. Sharon had a passion for ballroom dancing and attended various dance classes in Winnipeg and spent many evenings dancing the night away. Sharon was also an avid seamstress, most evident in her imaginative Halloween costumes and beautiful children’s clothes sewn with love. She made Sunday dinners and holidays so special with her magic touch and her “famous pies” will never be forgotten. A dedicated employee at Kitchen Craft for many years, Sharon took great pride in her work and became an accomplished Kitchen Designer. We are grateful to those who have shown us support and given us comfort through prayers. In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, no formal memorial service has taken place. Thank you to the staff at Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery for your professionalism and compassion. Sharon’s legacy and the lives she touched will be forever remembered. Sharon, we will miss you deeply until we meet again. Love you forever Mom.
