It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our loving father, Orville, on November 27, 2015.

Dad was born in Ebenezer, Saskatchewan on December 27, 1926. He moved to Winnipeg as a young man and worked for many years at the T.E. Eaton Company until his retirement.

He met and married our Mom, Caroline, on November 19, 1954. With the greatest of pride, they raised four children in their home on Pritchard Avenue.

Dad was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping and fishing with his family. He was a passionate and proud gardener. He loved to “tinker”, spending many hours working on various projects in his garage and basement. He could build or fix just about anything! Dad was a hard worker, often working more than one job to create a better life for his family.

Dad will be at peace now as he rests beside his beloved, our Mother, who passed away in 2009.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children Judith Lemon (Roger), Gregory Lee (Cathy), Cheryl Manness, Glenda Penner (Rudy); grandchildren Ashley and Taylor, Nathan and Nicole, Sydney and Isaac, and Owen; great-granddaughter Karrie-Lee; brother Vernon and sister Lynn.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Prairie View Lodge and Rock Lake Personal Care Home in Pilot Mound, Manitoba for their care and support.

A private family service has taken place.

Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenedenmemorial.ca
