<div itemprop="description">Lucila Salto Anos <br />October 31, 1924- April 13, 2016 <br /> <br />&ldquo;Nanay Lucing&rdquo; as she was fondly called, peacefully passed away, April 13, 2016, at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 91 years old. <br /> <br />She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Manuel Anos Sr.; brother Narciso Salto and sister Cresencia Salto. <br /> <br />She is survived by sister, Leonor Salto Tanada; sons Manuel Anos Jr. (Sonia), Melchor Anos (Marilyn), and Virgilio Anos (Zenaida); daughters Angelita Anos Caneda (Bernardo Sr.), Maria Anos Fabi (Francisco), and Resurreccion Anos Alban (Onofre). She will be lovingly missed by her 25 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren here in Canada, Philippines, Italy &amp; Korea; and nephews and nieces here in Winnipeg, Vancouver, and the Philippines <br /> <br />Family and Church were very important to her, which is why she immigrated here to Canada in 1990. She loves looking after &amp; spending quality time with her grandchildren. She loves to pray and is very devoted to everything that pertains to church and God. She was very prayerful and always prayed with her rosary. She tried to instill to us teachings and values of the church. Love for her family was always the center of her life. She valued a strong support system at home and thought it was the key to a successful and happy family. She was very much involved with the Block Rosary Crusade, The Lord of Pardon, and an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary at St. Joseph&rsquo;s Parish. <br /> <br />Viewing will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home at 4477 Main Street. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Parish, 355 Andrews Street. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. <br /> <br />The family would like to thank the homecare staff for the daily care they gave to our mom (C.C, R.C&rsquo;s, H.C.A&rsquo;s) Thanks to Dr. D. Chew and Dr. A. Sharma, and all the staff of 3rd floor Unit 4 &amp; 7of Seven Oaks Hospital for their compassionate care. <br /> <br />Pallbearers will be Chris Anos, Erick Alban, Bong Garcia, Ariel Leyson, Michael Parrenas and Jordan Roselo. <br /> <br />Our family gives special thanks to Father Dado Parrenas for administering the last rites for her, to Father Dominic Yuen performing Easter Blessings and the funeral prayer service, and for Father Bo Wardzinski as the officiating clergy for the funeral mass. <br /> <br /> <br />Thanks to all our relatives, friends and in-laws for their prayers, condolences and support through this difficult time. <br /> <br /></div>
