After battling cancer for almost two years, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother,
uncle and son on May 1, 2016 at the age of 48.

Ken will be greatly missed by his wife Carol, mother Judy, his daughter Candace Kroeker, son-in-law Tony, his grandchildren Serenity and Elora,
his brother Don Korolyk, nieces and nephews Kaitlyn, Daniel and Lauren. Sister-in-law Susan and nephews Brennan, Jordon and Leon. Ken also
leaves behind other cherished friends and family.

Ken was born to parents Judy and Dennis Korolyk on March 16, 1968 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ken was the eldest of two brothers and attended
school at Collicutt Elementary and Ken Seaford.

In the fall of 1998 Ken met the love of his life and his future wife Carol, where they would go on to spend the next 18 years together.

Ken was incredibly intelligent and excelled at everything he put his mind to. He was an extremely hard worker and gifted troubleshooting and
fixing almost anything. Ken was able to harness what he loved most, technology, and created a very satisfying and rewarding career in
Information Technology.

Ken worked at Hewlett Packard involved in IT related provincial infrastructure projects as a senior systems engineer. Then in 2012 after 14 years
with Hewlett Packard, Ken left to pursue an IT management opportunity at a locally based Winnipeg company called CanadaDrugs. In this new
endeavor Ken had a challenging roll, but it was one that complemented all of his skill sets and he was proud of the work he did.

A big part of Ken was doing his best no matter what it was. He wasn’t a person for half measures and anything worth doing at all was worth doing
well. If Ken was going to put his name on something, it was going to be done right and to the best of his ability.

Ken had many interests and hobbies. He was a voracious reader and loved science fiction novels and movies.
Some of Ken’s most cherished times were at family gatherings during holidays and birthdays. Ken was an excellent cook and took great pride and
joy in hosting dinners and cooking favorite dishes at family events.

Ken also cherished spending summers at the lake with Carol and their two dogs. At the lake they would enjoy their days hiking, fishing and enjoying
their time together.

Ken had a big heart and was very generous with his time and helping friends and family. Ken will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A cremation has already taken place and a private gathering of relatives and friends will be held.

The family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manitoba Cancer Care or the Winnipeg Humane Society where Ken has
adopted pets.
