John Nebozenko
December 14, 1922 - August 30, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Nebozenko on August 30, 2016 at Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB.
Dad was born on December 14, 1922 to William and Kathleen (Starrin) in Narol, MB, at his grandfather's homestead. Predeceased by his parents; brother, William; and sister, Annie, he leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years Esther; son Pat; daughter Linda (Henry); daughter Bev (Mark); 9 grandchildren: Kristen, Dayna (Ryan), Jared; Charlyn (Nathan), Daniel; Dakota, Kelsey, Garrett, and Lucas; 1 great-granddaughter Cali; and many numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Many thanks to the staff in the Seven Oaks Emergency Department who took such good care of Dad during his final days and worked to ensure he was as comfortable as possible. A special thanks to Nurse Chris whose dedication and attentiveness to not only Dad, but to everyone who came to visit, meant more than we could say.
A celebration of Dad's life will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
We love you, Dad and Papa.
