<div itemprop="description">Peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2016, Jean passed away at the age of 89 at Holy Family Nursing Home.<br /><br />She is survived by her brother Mike (Virginia) Zaluski; sister Ethel (Carl) Rebeck; sister-in-law Mary Lozinski; son-in-law Andrew Truss; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.<br /><br />She was predeceased by her husband Bill, and her most precious daughter Maureen; parents Phillip and Maria Zaluski; siblings Peter, Paul, Steve, Nick, Bill, Margaret, Annie, and Nettie.<br /><br />Jean was an active person all her life. She worked as a hairdresser until her retirement and enjoyed spending summer weekends at Andy and Maureen&rsquo;s cabin in Lac du Bonnet. She also loved baking, gardening, and preserving fruits and vegetables. <br /><br />Jean also enjoyed spending many winters in Mesa, Arizona with her sister Margaret. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.<br /><br />Special thanks to the staff on the 4th floor at Holy Family Nursing Home. <br /><br />Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Viewing will take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. <br /><br />In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Holy Family Home, 165 Aberdeen Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2W 1T9.<br /><br /><br />Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenedenmemorial.ca<br /></div>
