<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Eleanor Rita Foy on March 23, 2015.<br /><br />She was predeceased by her husband Frank and sons Bill and Doug. <br /><br />She is survived by her daughter-in-law Karen; grandchildren Darryl (Cathy), Kevin (Darcie), Bryan (Lindsay), Kathy, and Jessica; great-grandchildren Tristen, Evrytt, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Nicole, Cassandra, Nathen, Sydney, and Eryck.<br /><br />Eleanor was born in Montreal, Quebec on April 14, 1920.<br /><br />One of Grandma&rsquo;s passions was hockey. She loved watching hockey and talking about it with her grandsons. When she was not watching hockey, she enjoyed her many game shows. Her favorite was The Price is Right. Most of all, in her later years, she enjoyed visits at Middle Church Home with her daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and special friend Madeline.<br /><br />A special thank you to the staff at Middle Church Home; Grandma always mentioned the wonderful care and kindness she received.<br /><br />Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place on Friday April 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Cemetery.
