<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Conchita Imuan Almazan. She passed away peacefully on February 11, 2016 at the age of 98 years old.<br /><br />She is predeceased by her loving husband Marcelino Almazan and grandson Kevin Derry Alindayu.<br /><br />She is survived by her son Joselito (Rosalinda) and daughter Liza (Romy); two grandsons Clifford (Olivia) and Karl Bryan (Marichelle); and five great-grandchildren Nicole, Noah, Natasha, Naomi and Chelsey. She is also survived by her sisters Flora, Prescilla, Lucrecia and brothers Teofilo and Guillermo and extended family in the Philippines, United States and the Middle East. She is also survived by her relatives here in Winnipeg, her nephew Marvin De Guzman and family, nieces Carmelita A. Schultz and family, Estrella Almazan and Lidivette Caramat and family.<br /><br />Conchita lived a happy life and spent each day to the fullest with the ones who mattered the most to her, especially her great-grandchildren whom she cherished the most.<br /><br />Lamay/Viewing will be held Saturday February 27, 2016 and Sunday February 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph&rsquo;s Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St. with interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Reverend Bo Wardzinski officiating. Pallbearers will be Rey Operana, Manny Cansino, Adio Baquiran, Abe Cacatian, Eddie Soriano, and Virgilio Balmana.<br /><br />Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenedenmemorial.ca.<br /><br /></div>
