<div itemprop="description">Ceferino Leong <br> <br> <br> <br>Ceferino ('Daddy, Lolo, Fer') passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at St. Joseph's Residence after a short illness and long comfort care. <br> <br>Daddy lived a simple life and enjoyed being around his family, friends and many people from all walks of life. He left us with memories that will serve us well as we move forward in our lives. <br> <br> <br> <br>Left to honor his memories are his wife, Narnelia, his own son Nelson (Trixie), and children Flor (Ben), Emma (Totie), Llorente (Elvie), Gigie (Bobby); grandchildren Deanne (Oscar), Jay-R, Keith John, Kelvin, Kevin, Kenneth, Leo, Sharmane, Debbie (Dennis), Mariclaire, Katrina, Sam; great grandchildren: Jaillan, Jayden and Joerrel. <br> <br> <br> <br>Ceferino was predeceased by his father Cheong, mother Socorro and brother Eugenio. <br> <br> <br> <br>Daddy owned a tailoring shop in the Philippines. He was passionate in his profession and continued to work at Benny's Tailors and Moore's The Suit People when he moved to Winnipeg, Canada. <br> <br>Lamay/Viewing will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 6:00 pm to midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main street. <br> <br>Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:30 pm at St. Edward’s the Confessor, 818 Arlington Street. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery. Reception will follow the in Glen Eden Reception Centre. <br> <br>Our family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph’s Residence for the special care he received during his final days and taking care of him over the last four (4) years. Thank you to Seven Oaks Hospital as well for attending to his medical needs during his short illness. <br> <br></div>
